Equitram

  • Introduction

Equitram contains a combination of Tramadol and Paracetamol (acetaminophen). Tramadol is a narcotic-like pain reliever i.e. centrally acting analgesic which possesses opioid agonist properties and activates mono aminergic spinal inhibition of pain. Paracetamol is commonly used for pain relief. The analgesic and anti-hyperalgesic effects of which rely on cyclooxygenase inhibition, nitric oxide synthesis blockade or reinforcement of the serotonergic system. Paracetamol is a less potent pain reliever that increases the effects of Tramadol.
